Big Ring of Gold, Jade and Diamonds is Showy and Impressive
This is the ring Paul gave Arley back in 1975 when they decided to get married. It was designed to enhance the treasured stones which went into it, and is hence an extremely showy ring, maybe even giving extra meaning to that word:

The ring is size 8. Its face measures one and an eighth inches by three quarters of an inch. Overall, it weighs one troy ounce.
Norah Pierson, a very talented and experienced jewelry designer, was Arley's mentor back then. She and Arley designed the ring together, using stones Arley had and loved, then Norah made the ring for us. It is marked 18K, and has also Norah's mark, the Eye of Horus.
The jade centerpiece is an old Imperial color jade carving. It is surrounded by two and a half carats of brilliant eye clean diamonds. The front face of the ring is pierced wherever there isn't jade or diamond, and below is a polished gold bowl reflecting back the light coming through the stones. When this ring moves, the flashing grabs attention from every angle.

And here it is, all that beauty condensed down to actual size:
