Pearls and Turquoise in Delicate Golden Chain Neckpiece

We know little about the origin of this lovely necklace, although we have had it for many years. It is quite old and has been well cared for. The metal looks and acts like gold, but is not marked, so we are not sure what it actually is. The craftsmanship is outstanding, the design is strong and timeless. The hanging stones are excellent turquoise cabochons, contrasting nicely with the gleaming pearls, all connected in a lacy network.
