"Four Spirals" is an Elegant Patinated Bronze Hanging Sculpture

"Four Spirals" is five feet high overall, and runs a foot or so wide. Fine, dark anodized stainless steel wires terminating in little brass balls hold it all together. There is a little brass ring at the top. The greenish patination is from treatment with acidified Pacific Ocean water.

And, of course, "Four Spirals" moves. Parts appear to move up and down as they slowly turn. The relationships between the forms shifts as you or the air moves. Kinetics are happening, but there are no ball bearing swivels or wind catchers. So everything goes slowly and gently..
