Old Naturally Colored Pearls in a Leaf Pin

This lovely pin is old, handmade, and unmarked. It has been handed down from owner to owner for at least sixty years we know about.

The metal appears to be sterling silver. It is seriously tarnished, and we have made no attempt to clean or polish it.

The pearls are beautifully matched in size and color. The pin is two and a quarter inches long. The wordmanship is admirable, and this designer integrated the pin into the design so neatly that the back of this piece is as impressive as the front.
